We observed an increase from 2013 to 2014 in the average brightness over the 975 sample parcels of 33.5, a slight increase from 2014 to 2015 of 3.4, and a decrease from 2015 to 2016 of 18.7. Between 2013 and 2016, the average brightness increased by 18.2.  The change detection map provides a visual representation of the increase in average thermal brightness over the 975 sample parcels between 2013 and 2016, displayed above as the areas in red.
